The faculty «Pedagogics and psychologies» was created in 1966. The terms of faculty pronounced tens monographies, hundreds is scientific - methodical of the articles. On a subject of a main scientific problem «Practice and theory formation of professional culture of the person of the future teacher » the research works are conducted. During these years 5 candidate thesises were protected. With 1993 for 2003 at faculty acted.
Terms of faculty is active act in educational-upbriging and social orb. The pedagogical activity of terms of faculty is highly valued the state. The professor - teachers of the department organize the trainings by using modern pedagogical technologies effectively. Allowing capabilities and needs(requirement) of each student, by elaborating a number(series) of a system of tasks and occupation of occupations, the attention to development of positive motives was reversed. By defining(determining) a level of mastering of knowledge of the students, for each level the system of special tasks was designed and by their running in trained subject the heightened level of mastering of knowledge was reached. The educational -methodical activities are conducted on the basis(fundamentals) new of pedagogical know-how: the lecture texts form in a problematic kind(view), till all subject on the basis(fundamentals) NPT there are educational -methodical manuals. · According to the partnership contract with the 21st secondary school of Mirzaobod district have two contracts.
· The two scientific - methodical manuals are created according to the partnership contract with the Syrdarya region “ Secondary Educational Department”.
Educational-and-methodical collections for the students of all directions in all subjects of pedagogic and psychology were compiled by the teachers of the department.
In 2008 senior teacher M.Khalnazarova and assistant-professor S.Gaziev published teaching aid “From the pages of history of psychology” at publishing house “Fan”.
Reflections of great thinkers of the East about state of mind of a man in a scientific popular-form are illuminated in it.
In 2008 senior teachers SH.Usmonova and S.Astanova published an educational-and-methodical collection on subject “Sport psychology ” (Psychology of sport)
The first discussion of doctors dissertation of assistant- professor H. Abdukarimov’s on theme “Professional upbringing of future teacher in the system of continuously pedagogical education” approved and it had a positive mark of specialists.
Candidate dissertations on themes “Intellectual diagnosis of students and mental development of them” by Sh. Usmonova and “Socially-psychological special problems of aged man in studies of Nakshbandi ” by M. Khalnazarova were completed. As well as their articles were published in the collections .
Teacher of the department U.Kholikov carries out scientific-investigation on theme “Formation of logical thinking of pupils on the basis of playing chess”. Members of the department carry out their investigative activities in different themes on directions pedagogic and modern pedagogical technologies.
