    After reduction faculty of foreign languages, the new department of primary education was established in 1973.
    In 1976 faculty of “Pedagogic and methodic of primary education” began functioning originally. During 2 years the quota of students, teaching staff increased and in this connection the new department of primary education began its activity in 1978. Assistant professor B. Turdiev managed the department.
    The professor- teachers of the departments conduct  scientific- research work. The following members of the departments as R Ergashev, P Holmatov, U. Roziboeva, N Rahimov, H Umarov, A Bobojonov, G Issaeva, R Hayrov work  on their scientific research work. B. Rahimov, U.Roziboeva, R.Ergashev, P Holmatov  G. Issaeva defend  their doctor’s and H. Umarov, A Bobojonov, N Rahimov, R. Hayrov  their candidate dissertations works.
    The head of the department B. Rahimov manages “Council of young scientists”of the university.
    The republican conference on theme “The Problem of improvement the modern professional quality of primary grade’s teachers” was held by the department of primary education and inventive art on November 20, 2008.
    The first  discussion of doctor’s dissertation  by assistant-professor B.Rakhimov’s on theme: “Social –pedagogical bases of direction of students to scientific research works”  approved  and it had  a positive  mark of specialists  and  recommended to the defense.
    The department of “Musical education” established in 2006 -2007. The department of “Pedagogic and psychology” established in 1966. The department has been working in different fields of pedagogic and psychology for 40 years. During these years the members of the departments  worked out tens of monographs, hundreds of scientific methodical articles. Yearly more than 3 monographs, 20 teaching aids, textbooks of methodic are prepared  and published  by professors  and teachers  of the faculty.
    The department of “Physical training and physical culture”.
    2007-2008 the educational building of Physical Training department was restored in modern style. 10 classrooms, teachers  room, canteen  were equipped  with contemporary   equipments. The  heating  system was renewed.
    A computer class exist on the department  which are connected to Internet  network. The Sport Hall  was completely  restored. The Training  Hall was  created  and it was  provided  with  sports  stocks  about 400000 amount.
    23 educational and  methodical collections were compiled on different subjects  by the teachers of the department.  More  than 300 textbooks with  27 different  appellations  were  provided. Electronic books on disciplines  as “Swimming  and its  training”. (written by Sariboev  Sh, Kamilov I.K) “Track and field  athlete  and its  teaching” (by Tanirberdiev A) were compiled.
    15 educational- and methodical collections for the students “Physical training and physical culture” of special  correspondence  students  with current  control works  were compiled  by the teachers of the  department.
    5 teaching aids and 5 textbooks were transformed into multimedia  electron handouts-reference  books by assistant-professors  of the department. The assistant-professors of the department were opponents in 2 candidate dissertations last years.
    Besides the members of the department took an active part in Republican and in International conferences held last  year. Many of the scientific collections of   teachers’ works were   published.
    Today the staff consists of 1 professor, 2 assistant-professors and 17 teachers. At present time  5 masters  of sport  with International  class,  more than  10 masters sport and  30 prices  of republican  championships  study  at our  department.
