The department of “Special correspondence”

    Special correspondence department (SCD) of Gulistan State University was founded   in 2002 on the basis of correspondence education. 
    Candidate of technical science assistant-professor Adil Sherkulovich Altmishev manages the department. In present time the staff consists of 1 methodologist, and 1 computer operator, also 40 assistant-professors and teachers of highly qualification from the departments are attracted to educational methodical work of special correspondence department.
    In 2002 for the first time admitted students on preparing bachelors in 2 these directions of SCD.

    Such departments as “Primary education and inventive art”, “Physical education”, “Agro engineering and professional-educational” graduate departments on bachelors educational engineer directions of SCD. From 23 University’s departments 19 are concerned in educational, educational methodical process preparing of the bachelors in accordance SCD’s educational directions.
    450 students   train on 3 directions at SCD. 60 from them train on the basis of State grants and 390 on the basis of contract. Continuously practical and methodical connections with graduates are organized by the department.
    Activities  of SCD  is organized  on the basis of  close  connection  with the government  of national  and secondary  specialized education. As well as organizational, methodical, practical  and  documentary  works  are being  done in  joint  action  with the leaders  of educational  institutions. Broad  possibilities  are created  on the department  for students  to get profound  knowledge.
    The students train in scholastic  common-rooms,  auditoriums  and use modern  equipment, as  well as  for reception  of the independent  formation  functions  the library  with  all condition. 2 methodical  rooms and  a computer  class  with Pentium IV printing house, section of Xerox exist  in the department.
    Activities created  at the department  of “Educational methodical  commission  of SCD” is directed  to realization  of modern  requirements organization of  reciprocal  help, conjunction  of creative  initiatives and using  modern methods  of teaching  at educational process. Set the task mastering skills of using modern informational-communicative technologies of SCD students in individual practice.
    One can acquaintance  with information’s about  educational  and organizational process, secretary’s work  and different  documents of SCD in computer class. In educational  direction of SCD the  main attention: is given  to the development  of teaching  process,  providing  necessary  teaching-methodical  resources, applying  modern pedagogical and informational  communicative  technology  in teaching  process. Particularly  means of distance teaching. Some qualified teachers of TSPU lead  their  lecture classes  using distance   method of teaching.
    Scientists and specialists of departments prepared methodical textbook. Instructions and recommendations on teaching subjects. The process of Accomplishment  of intersession   works of SCD students  is coordinated,  there were  prepared  teaching methodical  complexes on subjects  according  to the teaching  plan of all educational  directions.
    In the printing-house of the university 100 copies of teaching  textbooks on subjects “Ecology” “Methodic” “of labour teaching” “organizational of individual work of students” “Native language”  “Russian language” were published  for  students of SCD: by the permission of coordination council.
    In SCD qualified teachers and students exchange their experiences teachers. With the purpose for exchange  of experience there is a tradition holding in 2 hours lessons between teachers and students working creative using modern technologies in their educational process. Organized videotape recording of model lessons  in video cassettes or discs which are given out the students.
    In SCD conference on theme “Problems of improvement  of teaching  process  on special  tuition by correspondence of higher education”  was  held in May 23, 2008. the materials  of the conference were discussed in 3 sections  with the  participation  representatives  of all  regions. The chairman of coordination council professor  S. Ashurbaev  took part  with the  report  in the conference.
