The faculty of the Kazakh language

    The department of the Kazakh language and literature was organized in 1967.
    For being restructured the department stopped its activity. Those years assistant professors Mirzaahmetov M (1967-1970), R. Sarsenbayev (1970-1974), J Aduvalyev, E Bekturganov teachers S.Arisbekov, B.Turginbayeva, BAhmetova and others worked at the department.
    In 1990-1991 academikal year the department was organized again and it has been functioning under the names of "Kazakh philology", " Kazakh and Russian philology and methods of individual disciplines", "The Kazakh language and literature".
    At different times assistant professors J Asabayev (1990-1993), Sh.Kerimov (1993-1994), E. Acindikov (1994-1998), B.Korganbekov (1998-1999), A. Raimov (1999-2000), were the heads of the department has headed by assistant professor J.Asabaev.
    The main scientific problem of the department is " Topical problems of the Kazakh language and literature and methods of their teaching ". Scientific works of the following scientific were published on the given problems. At the department much attention is given to working with students, providing them with scientific and methodical literature and text-books. More than five hundred text-books and manuols have been prepared by means of repriting.
    Scientific and methodical co-operation is carried on with other institutions of higher education, such as Tashkent Pedagogical university., Uzbekistan State university of World Languages, Chimkent university, Syrdarya university in Jetysay, and also with the departments of Kazakh language and literature of Tashkent Regional university in Angren pedagogical institutions in Jizzakh, Navoi, Nukus and Karakalpak university.
    Іn 2007-2008, a lot of methodical and teaching complexes were created and published. docent J. Asabaev created a special teaching aid on subject "Modern Kazakh ianguage", senior teacher N. Totanov compiled "Kazakh literature for children", K. Fazilova - "Language culture of a teacher" (number of shuts-16).
    New teacher of the Kazakh language, who had graduated from Tashkent state pedagogical university by Nizami in 1995. New courses of lectures were complited and inserted into computers in 2008. The work on creation of the two electronic books is being done.
