“General Physics” Department

    Department was formed in 1972. The following subjects are taught by the professor-teachers: General physics, theoritical austronomy, austrophysics, the history of physics, radioelectronics, methodology of teaching physics, termodinamics, and statistical physics,  radiophysics of  Kvant, geliophysics, physics of atmosphere.
     Members of the department are doing researches on the following problems: “Using the energy of the Sun in agriculture”. “Studying the photoelectrical electrophysical features of photoelements made of semi-conducting alloys”. “Studying the impact of copper micro fertilizer onto the wheat and vegetables”.
     5 monographs, 20 methodological handbooks, more than 485 scientific articles were written and published by the scientists and  teachers of the department. The members of the department: A.Abdullayev, Sh.Niyozov, G.Samatov, T.Risboyev, U.Juraev have taken part in international conferences on themes: “Problems of using the Sun energy” (Frunze 1988), “Advantages of using energies” (Moskow 1989), “Rehabilitating sources of the energy” (Varna 1989), the conference dedicated to “Photoelectrical and optical events” (Tashkent-1996), and “Semi-conducting materials and equipments”.
     The members of the department organized and held a scientific conference named “Essential problems of teaching physics-mathematics” in 2005,  the conference dedicatet to the 600 anniversary of M.Ulughbek in 1994 at Gulistan State university.
     Moreover, the members of  the department took part in more than 30 conferences which were held over the republic with the themes they are engaged.
     The department prepared more than 600 specialists of  physics for the Public educational field of the Republic and the province till today.
    For instance, in 2007-2008 academic year 15 students of the speciality of physics graduated from the university.
     There are 4 subject circles in the department where 30% of the students of the faculty take part.
    The results of these circles’ students scientific researches are discussed by taking part in conferences held over the republic and higher educational establishments.
    Among former students of physics speciality there are well-known students over the region and the republic.They are: Sh.Parpiyev – the dean of Tashkent Communication  Institute, K.Xolikberdiev – chairman in Bayavut region, Sh.Mamarajabov – teacher of Tashkent Economical College and so on.
    The members of the department are doing some scientific–methodological researches on organizing teaching process on the level of modern requests according to the law “About Education”, and using modern pedagogical technologies, Information Communicational technologies in classes these days.
     Now they are also buzy with looking through educational programs, creating new educational handbooks and manuals and etc.
    The members of the department are doing some scientific researches with the order of Science and technique Committee of  Science Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the theme: “Using the Sun energy in agriculture”. Assistant professor of the department T.Risboyev for his scientific researches (works) won the grant of the Committee of Science and Technique of Uzbekistan Republic which was announced in 1999.
     Now he is doing some scientific researches on the basis of it.
    In 2000 T.Risboyev, Sh.Niyazov, A.Saidov and others were able to get the patent of the Committee of Science and Technique on this grant.
    Nowadays the following professors and teachers are working in the department.

    The department established scientific relationships with the following higher educational establishments to develop scientific research works and train magistrates:
    Academy of Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Scientific Production Union of Sun physics.

• Osh State University.
• Samarkand State University.
• Tashkent State Pedagogical  University.

    The department’s members are doing scientific researches on the following directions:
- “Using the Sun energy” Supervisor: assistant professor Niyazov Sh.K. cipher 05.14.08.
-“Creating new types of semi - conductors” Supervisor:   Risboyev T.R. cipher 01.04.10.
-“Studying electrometric,spectrometric and radiometric features of semi-conducting detectors” Supervisor: assistant professor Djurayev U.B. cipher 01.04.10.
     “Studying surface ionizing events” Supervisor assistant professor Rakhmonov G.
     The department is doing researches with the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the theme planned for 2008-2015 years named “Working out a plan of the hot houses in which the efficiency of using the Sun energy is high for farms”.Supervisor: assistant professor Niyazov Sh.
     “Getting copper micro fertilizer with azote and using it in farming”. Some contracts were signed between regional farms and assistant professor Mamadiyorov N. on the above given theme and scientific researches are being done.There are 7 educational laboratories and a computer cabinet in the department. In addition to it, there is a scientific-problematic laboratory for scientific researches.The assistant teachers do their research works,graduates write their qualification works there.
