Faculty of Agricultural economy
One of the famous representatives of Jadid’s motion A.Avloni about the role of economy in the life of a society said: “Economy is the price of money and welfare a person knowing economy does not waste them in vain and does not feel sorry the money on purpose”. Big need was felt at the first years of independence for skilled economist. The reason of this attraction in economy of the directions of market economies and serves the development of the economic system of the country.
 In relationship with this in 1993 economic department was formed under mathematical faculty and that the first students were accepted. In 1994 economic faculty was separated from mathematical and became independent.
In 1995 engineering and economic faculties were united. They were joined to “Engineering-economic” faculty. There are 2 divisions of preparation specialist exits by directions of the economy and book keepings. In 1999 faculty of the technology faculty was separated and economic faculty was formed.
 Today bachelors are prepared on faculty on directions 5340100 “Economy” for economy of the republic and area.

«Mechanization of agriculture and technology of production recirling» function on the basis of the faculty.
2 professors, 8 candidates of the sciences, assistant-professor, 8 senior teachers and 10 teachers are at the faculty.
The professor-teachers conduct research work on direction “Problems of increasing efficiency of the market mechanism in modern condition”, “Role of management system in increasing social capacity of efficiency of Uzbekistan and ways of their improvement”, “Provision to reporting of the expenses checking and distribution of capacity” The faculty cooperates with many other High Institutions in work on preparation scientific-pedagogical staff.
There are 18 academic groups at the faculty, Uzbek and Russian languages of the education, (on grant base-125, on contract 371) 426 boys and 70 girls which get the knowledge on 30 subjects.
For active participation in public deal in 2002 the following students awarded with special scholarships: Umarov Oybek (the Republican Bank association ), Kadirov Abrorhon (the Republican Fund named after Mirzo Ulugbek). In 2004 Umurzakov Jamol and in 2005 Makhmudova Gulrukh were awarded Navoi scholarships. The state Navoi scholarship was assigned to a student of the 4 course. Sultanova Hilola for active participation in contest between student of High Institutions in 2008-2009. Today active students lead work on subjects “Rational use of labor resource in rural territory”.
 On December 2008, scientific-research seminar as organized on economic faculty on economy of agriculture. There were considered existing problems and were done recommendations upon their realization on the part of competent scientists and practicing specialists.
Broad possibilities are created on the faculty for students to get profound knowledge. The students are trained in scholastic common-rooms, auditoriums and use modern equipment, as well as for reception of the independent formation functions the library with all condition.
2 computer classes exist on the faculty, which are connected to Internet network and students use them on fixed time. “Small schools” as and circles “Practicing accountant”, “Young economist”, “Young businessman”, and “Young banker” function on the bases of the departments.
Assistant-professors organize the activity of students scientific at “Small school”.
11 talented students of the economic faculty returned from winter school which was held the 4th time on the initiative manual of the University and youth motion “Kamolot” where they raised their skills and knowledge. Great attention is paid to the supplying of educational and modern textbooks of subjects which are taught at the faculty of economics. The following educational textbooks were published at the faculty by the teaching staff.

In connection with the fact that creation of electronic textbooks requires a pecular attention on the taught disciplines the following electronic and educational textbooks were created:

- Allayorova M. “Economy of the infrastructure of the agriculture”

Today 35 textbooks on taught discipline have been published for the last years 1 doctor and 2 candidates defended their dissertations, and 2 candidate works were recommended for defense. This year 1 doctor and 4 candidate dissertations are planned to defense.
 Great attention is paid to the spiritual functioning. There is a separate spiritual centre on the faculty where students can get acquainted with printed matters and books. Faculty students fill their free time tacking part in circles which function on the faculty on 8 disciplines under the guidance of experienced teachers. Effectively organized educational processes on faculty positively influence on the quality of preparation of future specialists.
Today our graduates work in branch of the economy of the country.
The German philosopher Hegel confided “Great state differs two qualities, the first- legal state, the second-High Schools providing qualitative formation”. We Hope, that in near future, the economic faculty of our University will be one of the leading educational institutions not only in the region, but also in republic. |
