Faculty "of Botany and ecology"

    This faculty was separated from the faculty of General Botany and named " Botany and the bases of Agriculture "in 1990. Sinse that time the following teachers have been working in this faculty; c.b.s. senior lecturers P.Khalkuziev, S.A.Daniyarov, A.J.Janibekov, c.a.s. senior lecturers I.Urazbaev, U.Toshbekov, from the young teachers: N.Berdieva, N.Sulaymonov. The senior lecturer P.Khalkuziev was the head of the faculty. Nowadays, three doctors of Biology sciences, four assistant professors, three senior teachers and more than six teachers work here. Three of them have been trained in the advanced foreign countries.
    The new “Environmental management” field was created after a long scientific research. And the faculty was renfmed, “Botany and ecology”. In present, ph.d. N.O.Sulaymonov manages the faculty. The faculty has its own scientific status. A doctor of Biology science and 4 candidates of Biology science are working here. And three doctors fre invited from SPC “Botany” ASRUz 400 alumni – specialits of this faculty are working at the various spheres of Agriculture at the secondary and higher educational institutions.
    Sciense research of the department is carried on the following spheres:
    “Systematical, biology end ecology of plants area of Mirzachul and mountain areas”.
    The chair has very close relations with the scientists of SPC “Botany” ISR, of Genetics of ASRUz and National University of Uzbekistan.Callaboration shows its results in scientific researches, new methods, monographies and scientific articles.
    More than ten outstanding students have been involved to the scientific researches in biology and ecology. One at them won the «President» grand and three “M.Ulugbek grand”.
    Thesis for Doctors degree and three Candidate dissertations have been successfully defended during the lost five years. In 2001 the magistrates in Botanics was opened. More than 10 specialists have been studied there. Their activity is connected with the institution of scientific research and higher institutions of Uzbekistan. Experimental plot and green-house are organized under the department magistrates and other students carry out their tests.
