Applied Mathematics and Informatics Department

    The Department was founded in 1986 to inculcate modern technologies in education system of university, create practical computer programs and training specialists in these directions. Assisstant professors as A. Tishlikov, I. Isoqov, K. Eshkuvvatov and S. Allayarov were chieves of the department. Since 2010 the department has been ruling by the candidate of technique science, assisstant professor D. Abdurahimov.
    The department has 6 candidates of science, assisstant professors, and 8 senior teachers. Professor teachers of the department carry out scientific in vestigations on "Creation and extention of methods, models, algorithms and programs of information system of university". More than 30 training methodical appliences and 200 scientific-methodical articles were published by scientists of the department. The department has 4 computer classes equipped with Pentium-3, Pentium-4 computers.
    Nowadays the depatment trains specialists in 2 directions (5480100- Applied mathematic and informatics, 5521900- Informatics and information technologies).
    Since 2003-2004 the magistracy "Applied mathematics and information technologies" has been put in action.
    On purpose to develop scientific investigations the department carries cooperations. The department cooperates with famous higher institutions as NUU, SamSU, TSTU,TUIT, TSPU, TSIU.
    According to Tashkent-Gulistan-Bukhara project of Tempus program UZNANETU creation and extension informational management in national system of Uzbekistan Higher Educational Institutions the department carries out scientific investigations in cooperation with Holland Fontus University, Great Britain Central Lankashir University as well as institutions of our republic UzNU, BukhSU, UzWLU, 2-TashMU, TashSMI, TashDSI. The professor teachers of the department D. Abdurahimov and U. Juraev according to this grant project had retrain qualification courses on "Information management and network system technologies" in Great Britain Central Lankashir University and Fontus University of Holland.
    The teachers of the department S. Allayarov, D. Abdurahimov, Sh. Norkulov, O. Burhiev took part in courses "Methods and creation of technologies of distance learning" and "Information security of computers" organized by Istedod fund in cooperation with Russia and were awarded to special certificates.
    The department organized courses "Basis of computer science" and additional classes to retrain professor teachers and assisstant technicians and students. For the students the department orgonized courses: “Programmer”, “Network monager”, “Designer”, “Presentator”.
