Department of agriculture foundations

     The Department of agriculture foundations of Gulistan State University is oganized on the basis of chair "Botany and basis of agriculture" in 1994. Uptovan About 150 specalists were trained in chair. The experts of agrochemists and agro study of soil are basically trained in the chair. From 2003-2004 academic year enrolment of the students on a speciality " Technology of manufacture of products of agriculture, storage and primary processing " begun.
     The graduates of a speciality 5620100 "Agrochemistry and agrosoilscience" work in the agricultural enterprises, in research and design institutes both in regional managements and in regional departments of ground resources in agrochemistry and soilscience capacity.
     The graduates of a speciality 5620500 "Technology manufacture of the products of agriculture, storage and primary processing" can work in the agricultural enterprises as agriculturist, and in storehouses of agricultural products and in mini factories as technologists.
     The chair was managed in 1994-1995 years and 1999-2003 years by assistant-profess dotcent I.U.Urazbaev and in 1995-1999 years by dotcent A. Sh. Oltmishev. Since May, 2008 dotcent N. Japakov manages the chair .
     There are 9 teachers, of them 7 candidates of sciences and senior lecturers, 1 doctor of agricultural sciences in the chair nowadays.
     The main subject of scientific work of the chair is "The increasing of soil's fertility of Hunger steppe". In 1999 under the supervision of I. Urazbaev Sh. M. Turdimetov defenced protected the candidates dissertation and received a scientific degree of the candidate of biological sciences.
     A. Altmishev and N. Japakov are working on the subject "Parting of steppe on its hidromeliorative quality using of underground waters" the candidates of engineering sciences, the results of researches are published as the tutorial, manual and clauses.
     The assistant-profess U. Tashbekov is carring out research "Salt-water mode meadow soil". In this direction more than 30 clauses and informations were prepared. Under the suppervision of the professor R. Kurvantaev the research work on a subject "Optimization of soil's density of Mirzachul " is conducted, 3 monographs and more than 50 articles are published. By the senior lecturer N. Holmurodov conducts the research work on a subject "Influence on productivity of cotton plant by hitrous-phosphoric fertilizer"..
     By the task of the committee of Ground Resources of Uzbekistan the chair executed contract in 1999-2000 years on the mln 2300000 the sum. The soil map, them of the facilities of Gulistan district was created. For this the map of soil of Guliston district purpose field, laboratory and of works have been done.
     The teachers of the chair together with the scientific employees of institute and agrochemistry are corryius out conduct scientific work on a subject "Monitoring of the soil of Syr-Darya region "
     Under the leadershin of the teachers of the chair on 17-18 April, 2003 on a subject "The problems and tasks of increasing of Mirzachul soil " was carried out at the republican scientific - conference.
     Teachers of the Department took part in 2 grant project competitions which were announced in 2005 by CST. "Selection due development of the technology of pea sort soil-climatic condition of the Hungre steppe" was the winner one of these competitions. At present the teachers of the Department are carrying out researches on this grant project of 10 mln. 300 000 sums.
    A scientific research work on theme “Salted water regime meadows soil of Barren steppe” is  carried out by the assistant professor of the department U. Tashbekov. More than 50 articles and reports were prepared  on this theme. Today U. Tashbekov carries out scientific-research work on the basis of international grant project on theme “Effect of perennial trees on reclamation soil’s condition”.  
    Assistant professor Sh. Turdimetov  is carrying out scientific – research work on theme : “Raising fertility and evolution of Mirzachul region’s soil”. The results of his work were published in journals “ Biological journal of Uzbekistan” and “Agriculture of Uzbekistan”  Assistant professor Sh.M.Turdimetov published 2 educational aids on this direction.
    In 2008  published educational- methodical collections on disciplines- “ Uzbekistan’s soil and their evolution”, “Agro chemistry” which were confirmed with Specialized Scientific advised at Ministry.
    Mirsharipova G.M. has been conducting research work from 2004 on theme: “Showing expose scheme of date of optimal soil and selection of pea sorts in Mirzachul region”. Also by   members of the department, under the supervision G.Mirsharipova carried out investigate activities  on the base grant project. A-8-161 on theme: “Creation of technology growing and selection of adapted pea sorts  restricted areas in Mirzachul’s climatic conditions”.  A  dissertational-research  and 4 graduation  works were defended  on the given  grant project.  As the result  of research work  published 17 articles, 2 of them in collection  of international  forum and  4 of them  on the scale  of Republic.
    5 methodical aids were published by G.Mirsharipova .
     A.Musurmonov as a post graduate student of the department conducts research work on theme: “ Raising soil’s fertile with little processing technologies”. 3 scientific articles by Musurmonov were published in the collections of scientific- research seminars. He compiled a methodical aid on disciplines. He compiled educational-and methodical aids on disciplines: “Science of the earth’s crust”, “Geology” and  “Mineralogy”.
    Teacher Kholbaev conducts scientific research work on theme: “Reclamation condition of Zamin region’s soil”.
    He has been  post graduate student of  Tashkent Agrarian University since 2008. He published 2 articles in the collections of republic scientific conferences.
    B.Kholboev a compiled methodical aid on discipline “Differentiated employment fertilizer and agrochemical cartography of soil”.
    The teaching staff cooperates with the Institute of Science of the earth’s crust and Agro chemistry on scientific project on theme: “ Monitor of Sirdarya region’s soil”.
    In 2009  planned holding of scientific  research conference on theme: “ Problems of improvement reclamation ecological soil’s conditions and effective conditions of farming resources.
